630A6636-Troy_resized_smallTroy Vander Zwart obtained his Master's Degree at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and has over 25 years of experience. Prior to beginning in his private practice Troy worked in a variety of clinical settings.  These settings include the Minirith-Meier New Life Clinics at Hampstead Hospital, a short-term residential treatment program, a community mental health center, and an EAP (Employee Assistance Program) where he provided crisis counseling.  He also developed groups for oppositional teens and lead a juvenile diversion program for court involved teenagers through the District Attorney's office. 

Troy 
works with clients to help them find their strengths -- improving their self confidence. With this new confidence, clients are able to boldly explore solutions to underlying problems and take steps to face those problems in an effort to rebuild their lives.  Troy's specialty is counseling individuals with symptoms of depression and anxiety and who have experienced trauma. He also has a passion for couples counseling, marriage and pre-marriage counseling, and family therapy.  He collaborates with his client's to improve communication skills and intimacy, identify dysfunctional cycles that need to change, and develop healthy boundaries. He has a comprehensive treatment approach.   He believes every person is unique and therapy goals should be customized based on a client's values, beliefs, culture, and personal relationships.

630A6635-Enhanced-NR_Vicki_resized_smallVicki Vander Zwart is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 25 years of clinical experience, who specializes in helping people recover from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, mood disorders, addictions, and grief. She has a compassionate, trauma informed, biopsychosocial-spiritual treatment approach, which is rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy. She obtained her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University, and is a clinical member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Vicki is certified as a Substance Abuse Professional and as such is able to evaluate employees who have violated a Department of Transportation drug and alcohol program regulation. She makes recommendations concerning education, treatment, follow-up testing, and aftercare for these employees in an effort to ensure public safety. Prior to beginning private practice, Vicki worked in a community mental health center as a Regional Director overseeing two mental health clinics and a children's day treatment program. She has also worked as an Account Manager for a national Employee Assistance Program where she provided corporate consultation, training, and critical incident stress management services.
